Eight Days of Eucharistic Joy/National Eucharistic Pilgrimage

Bishop Senior has invited us to join him for Eight Days of Eucharistic Joy on June 1-8. This week is dedicated to worship surrounding the Holy Eucharist with special events throughout the Diocese. It’s taking place in conjunction with the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, which will arrive at the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, IN on July 17.

 

Highlights include:

June 1 - Priesthood Ordination

June 3 and 4 - National Eucharistic Pilgrimage at several Adams County churches and ending at St. Joseph’s in Hanover with an ethnic food fest

June 7 - Consecration of the Diocese to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus by Bishop Senior, 12 p.m. at St. Patrick Cathedral

June 8 - Solemn Mass at 9:30 a.m. on the steps of the Capitol in Harrisburg, followed by a Eucharistic Procession and food festival
